The Albert Dock in Liverpool provides an enjoyable day out, being the second-most popular attraction in Great Britain with the largest collection of Grade 1 listed buildings in the UK. Offering the Maritime Museum, Tate Gallery, the Beatles Story, Animation World and scores of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés. Or simply take a ride on the world famous Mersey Ferries and cruise the river complete with a running commentary as you pass the historic landmarks.
Based on the route of the Victorian railway line between Hooton and West Kirby, Wirral Country Park offers easy walking and cycling and bridle paths are also available. The park was the first designated Country Park in Britain.
